Lee Noble is a musician, performer, and multi-disciplinary artist moving between sound, printmaking, and collage. He has worked as a 35mm projectionist, archivist, letterpress printer, comic book store clerk, and as an assistant to author/artist Miranda July. In 2012, he worked under New York painter Mike Perry on his temporary art gallery and community space Wondering Around Wandering. His audio output has concentrated on the in-between places of music forms, where synthesizer composition and folk traditions start to meet. He is the designer and co-founder (along with Stephen Molyneux) of No Kings Record Co., a cassette label which has focused on field recordings, ambient, and drone music. He has performed at venues and festivals throughout the US, Europe, and Japan, including Sonihouse (Nara, JP), Hopscotch Fest (Raleigh, NC), Soy Fest (Nantes, FR), Rewire Fest (Den Haag, NL), the Chicago Art Book Fair, the Los Angeles Art Book Fair, the Wire’s Adventures in Modern Music Fest (Chicago), Human Resources (Los Angeles), Church on York (Los Angeles), Temporary Space (Los Angeles), and Issue Project Room (Brooklyn).
